J. Todd George, Psy.D.

About Dr. George

Dr. Todd George has been licensed as a clinical psychologist in Georgia since March 2013. He has over a decade of training and experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental health and neurodevelopmental disorders. 


Dr. George has provided psychotherapy and assessment in various clinical settings, including several residential children and adolescent treatment facilities, schools, community mental health centers, hospital-based outpatient programs, an adult inpatient program, a neonatal clinic, and private practice. He also has experience in research, program development, and training within the adventure and outdoor behavioral healthcare industries.


Education and Training

  • Bachelor of Arts  in Wilderness Leadership and Experiential Education from Brevard College 
  • Masters of Education  in Counselor Education from Clemson University 
  • Doctorate of Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from the University of Indianapolis with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Psychology
  • APA-approved doctoral internship through Astor Services for Children and Families in upstate New York, where he also was a guest lecturer on residential treatment for child and adolescent populations at Bard College
