“Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced.” — James Baldwin
Dr. Scandrick is a doctoral-level postdoctoral fellow who specializes in comprehensive psychological, psychoeducational, and forensic assessment across the lifespan. She has extensive experience working with individuals ranging from early childhood (as young as 2 years old) through older adulthood and is passionate about helping individuals and families move from uncertainty to clarity through high-quality, data-driven evaluations. She works closely with licensed psychologists in evaluating for ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, learning disorders, executive functioning concerns, personality and behavioral functioning, and more complex diagnostic presentations. She has extensive experience with forensic, court-involved evaluations.
She approaches each evaluation with cultural humility and a strong commitment to working from a multicultural lens, recognizing that culture, identity, and lived experience play an important role in how individuals engage with the assessment process. Her approach emphasizes creating a respectful and supportive testing environment where clients feel seen, understood, and safe—an essential foundation for valid and meaningful results. She has experience working with neurodivergent individuals, individuals with learning differences, those with trauma histories, and clients involved in legal or forensic systems.
Dr. Scandrick earned her Doctor of Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from Mercer University in August 2025, along with a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Chemistry. She is currently working toward licensure and continues to refine her assessment expertise through ongoing training and supervised clinical experience.
